The Tahiru Awudu emerged the star of the show as he scored four times for Medeama in the 5-2 trouncing of Aduana Stars to qualify for the finals of tthe 2019 Betway Cup on Saturday.
The youngster found his scoring touch, dismantling the Fire Club at the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi
The young striker etched his name in the history folklore, becoming the first Medeama player to score four goals in a competitive match.
He opened the scoring under five minutes into the game.
He added another from the spot before Yahaya Mohammed with a shot from inside the box to pull one back for the Ogya Boys.
Awudu his third just one minute afterwards to increase Medeama SC’s lead.
Few minutes from the half-time, Awudu made it 4-1 to the Tarkwa side.
Ofori got his name on the score sheet to make it 5-1 in the second half.
Pius Asante reduced the deficit with about fifteen minutes to the final whistle.
Medeama SC will take on hosts Ashanti Gold SC in the finals on Sunday at the same venue.
Aduana Stars will also tackle Liberty Professionals in the 3rd place play-off.
