Medeama remained top of the Ghana Premier League table with a 2-0 win over Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
A pair of first half goals from Prince Opoku Agyemang gave the Mauve and Yellows the comfortable lead.
The opener was registered in the 12th minute when he connected home a cross from the left from Nana Babil.
Agyemang first controlled with his left foot, spun a little bit and then smashed into the net to beat goalkeeper Winfred Komla.
Before that, midfielder Rashid Nortey launched a strike but that was collected by Komla.
Agyemang doubled the lead for the Tarkwa-based side in the 29th minute with a sublime finish.
Medeama have three points more than second-placed Aduana Stars who play Bechem United on the road.
