The striker rose high to head in the winner with just additional time left to play.
King Faisal created some chances in the first half but failed to take advantage and thought they had won a penalty at the stroke of half-time but the referee waved play on.
After a first half dominated by the home side, Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu rang a couple of changes, bringing on Kwasi Donsu.
Medeama began to create chances but could not find the cutting edge.
King Faisal then left it late to secure all three points after Kwame Peprah made no mistake by with his header from close range.
