Medeama coach Samuel Boadu is staying grounded despite recording his first win of the season.
The Mauve and Yellows finally ended their difficult start to the season after a narrow 1-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs.
This is the club’s fourth consecutive win against the Mysterious side at the Cape Coast stadium.
Isaac Agyenim Boateng climbed off the bench to head home the only goal of the match with 20 minutes left on the clock.
Prior to the win, Medeama had drawn twice and lost one with an outstanding match against Kotoko yet to be played.
However, despite being thrilled with the win, Samuel Boadu is cautiously optimistic after bagging his first win of the season.
“This is a good win for us and we hope to build on this in the subsequent games,” he said
“The team is now building up slowly as we continue to find our rhythm.
“I said we were going to find our feet after the fourth match and this is what we are seeing.
“There is lots of work to be done and more room for improvement but we’re not getting carried away.”
Medeama host Liberty Professionals at the Akoon Park on Sunday.
