Medeama host Liberty Professionals seeking to record their second win of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League campaign on Sunday.
Both teams go into the match on the back of victories in their last matches.
Medeama continued their dominance over Ebusua Dwarfs with a 1-0 success last weekend while Liberty Professionals put Great Olympics to the sword 2-0 in Dansoman.
The Mauve and Yellows will be desperate to avoid any further slip at home when they welcome the scientific soccer lads.
The Tarkwa-based side drew 1-1 with Great Olympics in their opening league match and will be anxious to avoid a surprise.
Medeama coach Samuel Boadu is expected to keep faith with the squad that won 1-0 at Cape Coast.
The two-time FA Cup holders are still without crocked midfielder Agyei Boakye.
But they welcomed midfield star Kwasi Donsu to their fold in their last league match and will be expected to be key for the side against Liberty.
Medeama will need to get a result against the Accra-based side and go on a winning run in order to give them a chance of fighting for the Premier League crown.
Medeama, who lie 12th on the table with five points from from four games, will go ahead of the sixth-placed Liberty Professionals – who have amassed six points so far.
Youngster Godfred Abban is expected to get a starting spot after making his debut last week.
Liberty Professionals will rely on last week’s two-goal hero Simon Appiah to cause trouble for the home side at the Akoon Park.
Abraham Wayo, George Ansong, Godfred Atuahene , Mubashar Issah and Stanley Anigyei are all available for the visitors.
